KU music professor develops music therapy program at Thai university
Dena Register, KU associate professor of music therapy, recently returned from a Fulbright appointment in Thailand where she helped establish a music therapy degree program at Mahidol University. Read more.


School of Music presents new Master Series programs
The KU School of Music is pleased to announce two exciting new Master Series initiatives, the KU Brass & Percussion and Opera/Voice Master Series. Both programs will welcome renowned artists to KU to work with students and give free master classes.


New Student Ambassadors Club created
A new student organization through the KU School of Music will provide music students the opportunity to better promote the new school, its students and the faculty and staff. Read more.


KU's Symphony Orchestra and Saxophone Quartet return from weekend Kansas tour
The KU Symphony Orchestra and Saxophone Quartet recently returned from an exciting tour across Kansas. There were performances in Wichita, Dodge City, Garden City, Great Bend and Salina, and the tour included KU Alumni Association chapter receptions, including one with Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little on Feb. 28 in Great Bend.
