Law student who survived cancer hopes
congressional testimony will help others

Second-year law student Tracie Revis was invited to submit written testimony this summer to the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs detailing her struggle to obtain cancer treatment through Indian Health Services. She was recognized at a committee hearing while in D.C. serving as KU’s first Native American Congressional Intern. Read more...

67-year-old alumna adds ‘triathlete’
to her resume

Jeanne Verville, L’85, is on an “unending campaign to stretch her personal boundaries,” according to an article in the Seattle Times. The semi-retired corporate lawyer recently participated in the Seattle Danskin Triathlon and, over the past eight years, has taken up sea kayaking, jazz singing, improvisational acting and memoir writing.
