High school students learn
about Thurgood Marshall’s legacy
More than 50 students from Kansas City high schools attended the recent Thurgood Marshall Law Day. Keynote speaker Chris Howard, L’2001, shared the moving story of his family’s civil rights struggle, and Dean Gail Agrawal honored the event’s namesake by telling his life story. Read more… |

KU moot court teams earn awards
in national competitions
Several University of Kansas School of Law students have earned awards in recent national moot court competitions. Chief Justice of the United States
to speak at KU
John G. Roberts, Jr., Chief Justice of the United States, will deliver the 2008 Vickers Memorial Lecture in April at the University of Kansas. The public talk will be part of a two-day trip during which Roberts will meet with business and law students and faculty.
