Greetings Jayhawks!

Autumn brings exciting news for Jayhawks around the country. KU has announced new four-year renewable scholarships for freshmen, beginning with the Fall 2012 class, that will help make college even more affordable. Prospective freshmen must apply by Nov. 1.

Homecoming week is in full swing on the Hill! This year's theme is From Lawrence With Love, and the week's activities will culminate on Saturday, Oct. 1 with the Homecoming parade at 8 a.m. followed by the football game against Texas Tech at 11 a.m. Click here to find a watch party in your area.

    KU Cancer Center meets fundraising goal
A $500,000 capstone gift from Topeka-based Capitol Federal Foundation to KU Endowment has fulfilled The University of Kansas Cancer Center's goal of raising $61 million before applying for designation from the National Cancer Center Institute on Sept. 25. Read more.

    Homecoming: From Lawrence With Love
The 99th annual KU Homecoming activities kicked off Sept. 25 and will culminate with the KU vs. Texas Tech football game on Oct. 1. This year's theme is From Lawrence With Love. Read more.
    Legends of the Phog game ends in tie
In a game featuring 23 of the all-time legends of Kansas men's basketball history, two stole the show at the end to send all 16,300 fans home happy from the Legends of the Phog exhibition game, which ended in an 111-111 tie. Read more.
