KU librarian receives KU's Keeler Professorship

KU librarian Brian Rosenblum has been awarded the Keeler Family Intra-University Professorship for an upcoming semester. The Keeler Professorship grants faculty a semester to work and/or study with a KU department and within a discipline outside of their own.

Rosenblum, who is the first librarian to be award this professorship, will spend one semester working with faculty and staff at the Spencer Museum of Art (SMA). His project will broaden his professional understanding of contemporary art museum issues and practices and explore how the scholarly community is using the digital collections made available through an existing partnership with KU Libraries and SMA. Rosenblum also will identify and catalog specific proposals for future collaborations aimed at enhancing access to the wide variety of scholarly resources at KU for greater interdisciplinary teaching, learning and research.
