Greetings, Jayhawks!
October on the Hill brings beautiful campus scenery, a great gridiron season and, of course, Late Night in the Phog. This year marked the event's 25th anniversary and a whole new look inside Allen Field House. If you weren't one of the lucky fans to get a preview of the 2009-'10 basketball squads, you can view a Late Night photo gallery.
Academics are garnering national attention, as well. KU continues to climb the rankings for its science and engineering research, and renowned historian and KU professor Donald Worster has added to his accolades an invitation from the prestigious American Academy of Arts and Sciences. New KU Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little has been busy traveling throughout the state, and you can read about her travels here.
We hope you enjoy this issue of KU Connection. If you're not already one of our loyal members, join online and you'll be just in time to receive your first membership benefit—a beautiful 2010 KU campus calendar that will take you back to the Hill every month of the year.
Warmest wishes from the Hill,
KU Alumni Association
