Greetings, Jayhawks!

After 14 years of service to KU, Chancellor Robert Hemenway announced last month he will step down from his position at the end of June. Since his announcement, Hemenway has garnered statewide recognition as Kansan of the Year. Under his leadership, KU achieved records in enrollment, ACT scores and diversity of faculty, students and staff, and the University has undergone an unprecedented expansion and remodeling of campus facilities to attract top students and faculty.

In this issue of KU Connection, we also celebrate a successful finale to the football season, an exciting start to basketball Big 12 play, and Princeton Review's ranking of KU as a best value college.

Don't forget—you're invited to contact KU Alumni Association President Kevin Corbett, c'88, at kcorbett@kualumni.org with your questions, comments and suggestions for how to better serve the Jayhawk nation.

Warmest wishes from the Hill,
KU Alumni Association
