Greetings, Jayhawks!

Loyal Jayhawks remembered a momentous year when KU’s fifth national championship banner (left) was unveiled Nov. 18 before the men's basketball game against Florida Gulf Coast. In this issue of KU Connection, you will read about more successes in 2008, including the HOPE Award winner Mary Klayder, as well as KU's visit from a former president. An oustanding KU junior anticipates making new memories next year, while she prepares to attend the presidential inauguration in January.

As always, we invite you to contact KU Alumni Association President Kevin Corbett, c'88, at kcorbett@kualumni.org with your questions, comments and suggestions for how to better serve the Jayhawk nation. As the holiday season nears, we'd like to thank you for your support as we work to strengthen KU. Please join the KU Alumni Association or renew your membership today.

Warmest wishes from the Hill,
KU Alumni Association
