Jayhawks return to Final Four

Jayhawk fans nationwide are celebrating KU’s 13th trip to the NCAA Final Four as they prepare to battle the Tar Heels of North Carolina in San Antonio, Texas. Tip-off for the semifinal game is scheduled for approximately 7:50 p.m.

Gather with fellow alumni and friends at watch parties across the country. If you’re traveling to the Final Four but don’t have tickets to the games, you can still be part of the action. In addition to the regular San Antonio chapter watch site at Fatso's Sports Garden, the KU Alumni Association and Kansas Athletics will host the official KU pep rally at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.  Tickets to the rally are $50 and must be purchased in person at the Hilton Palacio del Rio Hotel. Space is limited to the first 2,500 fans! More info can be found online.

For those fans unable to make it to San Antonio, check out some of our Alumni Watch Sites around the country, or watch the game from The Phog. Kansas Athletics will welcome fans to Allen Fieldhouse for Saturday's national semifinal contest against North Carolina. The south and east entrances of Allen Fieldhouse will be open starting at 7 p.m. Should Kansas defeat the Tar Heels, Allen Fieldhouse doors will open Monday at 7:30 p.m. for the 8:15 tip-off.  The KU pep band and the mascots will be on hand. The Fieldhouse will close each night immediately following the games.

Admission is free, and parking lots and the parking garage adjacent to Allen Fieldhouse will be available at no charge. The KUstore.com, the Booth Family Hall of Athletics and concession stands on the lower concourses will be open.

Visit Final Four Central at kuathletics.com and the Ultimate Basketball Guide for the latest information on the Jayhawks.
