Law and business schools among best in nation

The KU schools of law and business are among the best in the nation, according to the Princeton Review.

The law school is listed in the 2008 edition of the Princeton Review’s “Best 170 Law Schools.” The guide includes information about KU’s academic offerings, student life, admission process, selectivity and career placement services, along with comments from students enrolled at the school.

The Princeton Review selected the top schools based on surveys of 18,000 law students and on school-reported data.

“If you like the Midwest, you can’t get better than KU,” said one first-year student.

The School of Business is listed in the Princeton Review’s “Best 290 Business Schools.”

The Princeton Review compiled the list based on surveys of 19,000 students enrolled in accredited MBA programs and on school-reported data.

According to the Princeton Review, “Students define KU’s MBA program as positive, up-tempo, friendly, lots of work and ‘a truly wonderful grad school experience.’ The students characterize the professors as ‘second to none’ and are impressed with their academic and professional backgrounds.”
