KU’s historic football season rolls on. The Jayhawks are now 10-0 and ranked third in the BCS standings as they prepare for their final contest in Lawrence. Tickets are still available for Senior Day against Iowa State this Saturday. 'Dark Fiber' gives light-speed link A new agreement between KU and KSU provides researchers, students and faculty access to an unused fiber optic cable that runs alongside Interstate 70, and will be used primarily to carry out research and academic missions. The KU Hospital ranks in the top five of academic medical centers in quality and safety, according to the University HealthSystem Consortium’s 2007 Quality and Accountability Study. In the three years of the UHC survey, the hospital went from 33rd, to 11th and now fifth this year. Read more about why the KU Hospital is one of the best.
