KU launches NY Times campaign, new TV ad

Advertisements for KU appeared in the New York Times online edition in conjunction with a special college guide section that came out in print Sept. 30. The banner ads were online in the Times’ education section nationwide from Sept. 30 to Oct. 6, and then to online visitors from New York, Chicago, Denver, Dallas and St. Louis from Oct. 7-14. Designed to promote KU’s new tuition compact, the ads were expected to generate about 250,000 impressions per week. Those who clicked on the ads were taken to a special Web site at http://www.jayhawks.ku.edu/nytimes/.
