Greetings, Jayhawks!

There has never been a better time to be a Jayhawk! The KU football team is undefeated and ranked 9th in the nation. While the 'Hawks see success on the gridiron, we’re also gearing up for an exciting season of Jayhawk basketball, which began with Late Night in the Phog. You can follow the ’Hawks wherever you live, and enjoy watching games in great KU company at a watch party near you.

KU researchers are also garnering national attention, including Jake Esselstyn, a graduate student hailed by National Geographic for his discovery of a new bat species, as well as Bruce Lieberman, whose theory on mass extinction was recently featured on the hit History Channel program Mega Disasters. Along with continued success in athletics and research, KU is also earning widespread regard with the University's recent release of a new national advertising campaign promoting KU—appropriately—as a great place to be.

With so much happening on the Hill, we hope you’ll return for Homecoming Weekend at KU Nov. 3. Rock Chalk!

Warmest wishes from the Hill,
KU Alumni Association
