Students of all ages will make memories on KU’s campus at a variety of summer camps devoted to music, math, basketball, tennis and much more. Academic and athletic camps are listed in alphabetical order with links to Web sites when available. Click here to jump to the athletic listing.

DUKE UNIVERSITY TALENT IDENTIFICATION PROGRAM

FRESHMAN SUMMER INSTITUTE
Four-week academic and residential program aimed at newly admitted KU freshmen. Students take five credits of coursework and live in the residence halls. June 17-July13. Kansas residents: $2,500; out-of-state residents: $3,900. Apply online; applications are due by May 1.
JAYHAWK DEBATE INSTITUTE

MATH AND SCIENCE CENTER
The Non-Bridge Summer Institute is for incoming high school freshmen to incoming high school seniors from Douglas, Shawnee and Wyandotte counties. Eligible students are from low-income backgrounds and/or potential first-generation college students who are interested in pursuing careers in math or science fields. June 3-July 12. The Bridge Summer Institute is for incoming college freshmen. Students take six credit hours of coursework and live in the residence halls. June 3-29.

PROJECT DISCOVERY
A one-week residential camp to help teen girls learn about engineering. Grades 9-12. June 10-16 for aerospace engineering, chemical/petroleum engineering and electrical engineering and computer science. KU SURVIVOR: ENGINEERING OUTBACK

SERTOMA-SCHIEFELBUSCH COMMUNICATION CAMP
Sessions I and II are for children ages 4-12 with and without communication challenges. Session III is for youth ages 13-17.
