Professors rise to the occasion 

Three School of Business professors accepted additional positions and expanded roles at the University and state levels.

Raquel Alexander

Raquel Alexander, assistant professor in accounting, recently joined the Advisory Council for Kansas State Treasurer Lynn Jenkins.

George Bittlingmayer

George Bittlingmayer has been named the Harold Otto Distinguished Chair in Austrian Economics. The position was funded by a $750,000 gift to The University of Kansas from Sherlock Hibbs in honor of his cousin, Harold Otto.

William Katz

William Katz has been named Regional Director of The University of Kansas Small Business Development Center (KU-KSBDC).
