The dog days of summer are here, and as temperatures soar into the triple digits on campus, things are heating up on the road. Association staff are traveling the country to hit the links, welcome new students and gather alumni at more than 35 events this summer. Check out our calendar to see when we’ll be arriving in your neighborhood.
We made a quick stop back in the office to bring a slimmed-down summer issue of KU Connection to your inbox. We hope you’ll enjoy our efforts. We’ll also use this time to complete some much-needed maintenance to our monthly newsletter and will return in full force for our back-to-school August edition.

KU Kickoff — Rally with Coach Mangino
Mark your calendars now! School and fall sports are fast approaching. Get excited about the football season and hear from head coach Mark Mangino at 7:30 p.m. on August 18 in the parking lot of Corinth Square (83 & Mission) in Prairie Village. Beginning at 6:00 p.m., bring the whole family to this free event to listen to the latest on KU football and see the KU Spirit Squad and band. Kids, we have something for you too! The inflatable fun zone will up and running. Members, don’t forget your card. Show your official Alumni Association card to receive a free slice of pizza or hamburger from Johnny’s as well as other goodies. Non-members, join at the event and receive a chance to win an autographed football.
Warmest wishes from the Hill,
KU Alumni Association
