Late Night in the Phog kicks off basketball season

The University of Kansas men's and women's basketball teams officially opened up their 2005-06 campaigns with the 21st annual "Late Night in the Phog." Thousands of supporters packed Allen Fieldhouse to catch their first glimpse of this year's basketball teams, and were treated to a night of entertainment including dancing, skits and basketball.

Horace Washington played the sax and the men's team sang the school song.


The men's stylish dance routine delighted the crowd.


Women's coach Bonnie Henrickson urged the fans to support her team.
