Alumni represent KU as leaders in their communities and their professions. Nominate deserving grads for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Alumni Distinguished Achievement Award, or the Distinguished Service Citation, the highest honor bestowed by KU and the Alumni Association for service to humanity.

Black alumni encourage future leaders through their student recruitment and career mentoring programs for minority students. Black Alumni Weekend, Oct. 8-9, will gather grads for reunion activities and interaction with students.

A Jayhawk who was a model for generations of students, longtime student union director Frank Burge, will be remembered Sept. 28 in a celebration of his life and birthday at the KU Memorial Union.

Also on the fall calendar is the second annual Jayhawk Roundup in Wichita Oct. 16, a great gathering to revel in the Crimson and Blue and raise funds for Wichita students and KU Medical Center programs in Wichita.

Of course, fall means football, which for KU is off to an exciting start. Our Ultimate Guide to Jayhawk Football provides fans all they need to know about pre-games and other alumni gathering across the country.
