KU dance team places second at nationals

The University of Kansas Dance Team placed second at the UCA/UDA College Nationals Jan. 16-18 in Orlando, Fla. It was the first top 5 finish for the dance team since 1995. Former KU dance team member Aimee Martinez, j'02, choreographed the routine.

KU was in third place out of 27 teams after the semifinal round on Saturday, then finished in second place out of 12 teams after Sunday's finals.
