KU Wireless Zone now in the Kansas Union

The Kansas Union, always a center of interactivity, boasts a new way for students to connect.

The Kansas Union and KU's Networking and Telecommunications Services have announced the launch of the KU Wireless Zone. Students can use their laptop computers to access the campus network while roaming freely in the public areas of the Kansas Union.

To ensure the security of KU's network, a KU online ID is required to use this technology. This resource was funded in part by KU students through the tuition enhancement program.

Other KU Wireless Zones are planned for later this academic year.
