Nobel winner to speak to business graduates

Vernon L. Smith, Nobel Prize winner in economics in 2002, will speak at the School of Business Graduate Recognition Ceremony May 16. Smith, g'52, will return to Lawrence to accept the Distinguished Service Citation, the highest honor given by the University and the Alumni Association for service to humanity. Read more.

School of Business to provide professional education to American Business Women's Association nationwide

The School of Business has been named as a provider of professional education for the American Business Women's Association (ABWA). With more than 55,000 members nationwide, ABWA kicked off its new KU-based professional education program at regional conferences in Kansas City and Waco, Texas, this spring and will offer a full agenda of courses for the ABWA National Convention in Fall 2003. KU will continue to offer courses twice a year for ABWA members. Read more.
