KU in the Capitol: KU bioterrorism team
U.S. Sen. Pat Roberts of Kansas announced last week that
KU will receive $3.5 million from the U.S. Department of Defense
to tackle two research projects that combat bioterrorism.
Roberts made the announcement alongside KU administrators
and researchers last month before a meeting of the Lawrence
Chamber of Commerce.
